Pricing Overview
Let’s take a typical example of how an item price is determined in a document. When
item information is entered, the system runs a check for appropriate pricing
procedures. The relevant pricing procedure is determined
based on the sales area, customer, and sales document type (these are
entered in the header of a sales document). Once it finds the right pricing
procedure, the system reads the condition type listed in the pricing procedure
sequentially, as maintained in the pricing procedure. Based on this condition type,
it determines the access sequence.
